ENTRY DEADLINE
The entry deadline is February 24, 2017.
Entries and fees must be received by that day. No telephone entries will be accepted.
DIVISION GUIDELINES / CLASSIFICATION
This tournament is for GLTA Open, A, B and C rated players:
Open: Highly advanced tournament player NTRP 5.0 and above
A: Advanced tournament player NTRP 4.5
B: High intermediate player NTRP 3.5–4.0
C: Low intermediate player NTRP 3.0
D: Novice player NTRP 2.0–2.5
The tournament draw committee has the right to reclassify a player to a higher division in accordance with GLTA rules and regulations.
DRAW FORMATS
Doubles
Single elimination, best-of-3-set format.
Consolation Bracket
The consolation bracket is for 1st-round losers. Single elimination, best-of-3-set format (a super tie breaker will be played in lieu of a 3rd set)
MINIMUM DRAW SIZE
If a division does not have a minimum of eight entries, it may be combined with another division. Entrants in a canceled division will be given the option of a refund or participation in another division.
SEEDING
Seeding will be based on GLTA ranking. Th e Tournament Directors reserve the right to make exceptions to seeding at their discretion.
SCHEDULE OF PLAY
Play begins Saturday, March 4, 2017, and continues Sunday, March 5. Matches will begin at 8 am, so please make travel plans accordingly.
ENTRY CONFIRMATION
Confirmations of receipt of entry will be by email. Players will be notified of the entry status (main draw vs wait list) in the email. After the draw is made, a confirmation email will be sent with detailed tournament information including welcome party time/location and the web address of the draws posted on-line.
DEFAULTS
A 15-minute default time (and USTA point penalty system) will be strictly enforced for all matches.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event weather causes scheduling changes, no-add scoring and/or pro-sets may be invoked in order to complete the tournament. Heat rest rules may also be invoked. No refunds will be given for inclement weather.

DRESS CODE
The Dress Code will be strictly enforced. Proper tennis attire must be worn while on court:
• collared shirts
• non-collared microfiber shirts
• sleeveless “made-for-tennis” shirts
• tennis shorts
➢ Only tennis shoes are allowed. No black-soled shoes.
Cotton T-shirts, cut-off shorts, running shorts, running shoes, aerobic wear, or bathing suits are not allowed.
DRAW AND REFUNDS
Draws will be finalized prior to the tournament, and will be posted on the GLTA website (draws for the Same Sex Married Couples Doubles Event will also be on Tennis Link). Refunds will not be issued once the draw is made.
